With the electronic (PS) version, when the valve is closed the reed switch is in its normally open contact position. Energizing the valve lowers the magnet and closes the magnetically operated reed switch contacts. The reed switch is capable of switching both AC and DC, permitting direct control over a wide range, from low- level load to electromagnetic power load. It has a rated operational current 240 VAC 0.5 A, 115 VDC 0.3A and a minimum operational power of 24V 1 mA. The switch is wired with 22 AWG conductors exiting through a liquid tight strain relief connector.
